Nicole Bartlett
Director | Senior Speech Pathologist
Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist and Owner of Sips and Sounds Speech Pathology.
Nicole graduated from the University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology with first class honours and is a Certified Practicing member of Speech Pathology Australia.
She is a home grown Coastie and lives on the Central Coast with her two sons, husband and two dogs. ​
She has worked locally on the Central Coast across not for profit organizations and private practice. She has extensive experience working under the NDIS and charitable organizations with a special passion for working with complex communications and feeding/mealtimes across all ages.
Nicole’s passion for multimodal communication and feeding/mealtime management is what inspired the development of Sips and Sounds Speech Pathology!
She is passionate about providing evidence based, goal driven and family centered services.
Nicole has exclusively worked with People with a Disability across the lifespan- from infants to adults.
She has extensive experience working with a range of chromosomal and genetic conditions, neurodegenerative disorders, Cerebral Palsy and other movement disorders, and Autistic children and adults.
Nicole has a passion and significant experience in Augmentative and Alternative Communication, Early Intervention, Paediatric Feeding and Mealtime Management.

Madeleine Cotterell
Senior Speech Pathologist
Madeleine graduated from Australian Catholic University, and is a Certified Practicing member of Speech Pathology Australia.
Madeleine is a true Central Coast local, where she lives with her husband and two cats.
Madeleine’s career started in non-for-profit, before moving into private practice.
She has exclusively worked with NDIS participants from infants through to aged populations, with a diverse range of diagnoses including Cerebral Palsy, Autism, ADHD and chromosome disorders.
She is experienced in all range of practice areas including speech, language, and multimodal communication.
Madeleine is passionate about providing meaningful, family-centered and evidence-based Speech Pathology services in Early Intervention, with a special interest in early communication and high-tech AAC.
She prides herself on her strong connections with her participants and their support people, and loves working within a multidisciplinary team.
She views herself as an advocate for her participants, and strives to be Neurodiverse-Affirming in her everyday practice.
Madeleine is Hanen More Than Words certified.

Mitchell Duffy
Administration | Technical Support
I have a strong focus on technical support. With a background in Industrial Automation, I excel at ensuring smooth and efficient operations through effective technical solutions.
I specialize in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing IT resources, and providing technical assistance to staff and clients.
My attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to communicate complex technical information in an easy-to-understand manner make me a valuable asset to any team.
In addition to my technical expertise, I am adept at managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and handling administrative tasks.
I am committed to providing top-notch support and ensuring that all technical and administrative needs are met promptly and efficiently.
Outside of work, I enjoy Mountain Biking and spending time with my x2 children, which help me stay balanced and energized.
I am always eager to learn new skills and take on new challenges.
I look forward to contributing to the success of Sips and Sounds.
